Helping Teens Cope - Book & Audio Set
Help young people whose school performance, relationships, and emotional development are adversely affected by the adults in their lives. Youth whose families are touched by parental alcoholism, martial problems, physical or sexual abuse, and other difficulties will all benefit from this series of open-ended, flexible gruop meeting. More than 100 reproducible exercises are provided, with clear concise, step-by-step directions.
The goals of the program focus on providing support to participants and assisting them in taking steps to improve their self-esteem, behavior in school, academic performace, personal relationships, and emotional development.
Also included is a set of three progressive relaxation and guided imagery audiotapes that helps students learn how to deal with stress. The audios can be used independently or as part of the Helping Teen Cope support group program. For grades 6-12.
