Smoking: Truth or Dare DVD (Teen Files)

Graphically demonstrate to tobacco-using teens what this deadly habit is doing to them. The damage smoking or chewing tobacco does to their bodies is not just something intangible that they might have to face forty or more years down the road. These young people are suffering the deadly effects of their tobacco use right now, and the consequences will only get worse.

This 34-minute program supports Health and Life Skills units on behavioral choices and personal health, tobacco education, and may be used as ancillary support in family life and alcohol and drug education classes. Students' understanding of the risks of tobacco use is reinforced as they learn that smoking kills more people each year than AIDS, drug abuse, car accidents and murder-combined.

This DVD is part of the Teen Files Series (004DS). For grades 6-12.
