Thousands of elementary age children have found a friend and teacher in Baxter, AKA Sooper Puppy. Central to all the issues that Baxter and his neighborhood friends face is empowerment. Through their trials and tribulations, children learn along with them, mesmerized by these lovable puppets and wise old Grandpaw's animated stories
Baxter falls under the influence of Grizzle and Stoops who pressure him into attending a party where "spiked" punch is served. The next day Baxter feels awful! Viewers learn the dangers of alcohol, and of staying away from those who would encourage them to drink.
