Dangers of Spit Tobacco Display

This unique folding display graphically educates students about the dangers of chewing tobacco. A wide variety of smokeless tobacco products are illustrated: moist and dry snuff, loose leaf tobacco, twist, plug and more. Students will understand that chewing tobacco is not a safe alternative to smoking. The addictive power of nicotine is described, as well as the long and short-term damage that smokeless tobacco can cause to a user. Graphic details are provided of how tobacco harms the teeth, tongue, gums and jaw. The dangers of leukoplakia are explained, accompanied by the powerful real story of one man who lost half his face during surgery to cut out a cancerous lesion. A special "ad-busters" selection analyzes how tobacco companies attempt to mislead consumers by making their products seem healthy, natural and safe. Made of high quality materials, the display measures 58" x 22" and can be exhibited on a tabletop or folded flat for easy transportation.
