Say No to Tobacco
Encourage students to think critically about tobacco addiction, media portrayal of tobacco use, the motives of tobacco companies, the practical aspects of quitting, and their own values regarding tobacco use. These activities are structured in a sequential and developmentally appropriate way and align with the CDC's "Guidelines for School Health Program to Prevent Tobacco Use." Additionally, the program promotes the life skills that enable students to resist using tobacco: decision-making, assertiveness, and stress management. For grades K-12.
